2022 Kilig Pinot Noir

In 2022, the Willamette Valley's grape growing season saw a mix of favorable conditions and unique challenges. While the weather cooperated for the most part, there were occasional hurdles such as heatwaves and sporadic rainfall, requiring careful vineyard management. Despite these challenges, diligent efforts by growers led to a promising harvest. This Pinot Noir is from our flagship Estate Vineyard in Ribbon Ridge AVA. A blend of 115, Pommard, 777, and Wädensville clones grown on marine sediment soil at an elevation between 300 and 800 feet. Aged in 50% New French Oak and 50% neutral oak.

This aromatic oak-aged Pinot Noir, boasting a brilliant ruby color, allures connoisseurs with its nuanced profile. Ripe cherries, succulent raspberries, and a judicious blend of baking spices and white peppercorn contribute to its complex flavor profile. Meanwhile, the wine exhibits a well-balanced structure with gentle tannins and subtle minerality, delivering a refined and sophisticated tasting experience.

2022 Halcyon Chardonnay

In 2022, the Willamette Valley's grape growing season saw a mix of favorable conditions and unique challenges. While the weather cooperated for the most part, there were occasional hurdles such as heatwaves and sporadic rainfall, requiring careful vineyard management. Despite these challenges, diligent efforts by growers led to a promising harvest. This Chardonnay is sourced from a vineyard just down the hill from our estate. 100% Mt. This bright lemon colored Chardonnay, methodically aged in a tripartite combination of 1/3 new French Oak, 1/3 clay amphora, and 1/3 stainless steel, offers a nuanced sensory exploration. Upon the initial tasting, the palate encounters zesty notes, reminiscent of lemon, green apple, and citrus rind. As the wine unfurls, a subtle but intricate layer of toasted brioche emerges; this delicate note enhances the overall complexity and structure, contributing to a balanced body and refined finish.

2022 Metier Pinot Noir

In 2022, the Willamette Valley's grape growing season saw a mix of favorable conditions and unique challenges. While the weather cooperated for the most part, there were occasional hurdles such as heatwaves and sporadic rainfall, requiring careful vineyard management. Despite these challenges, diligent efforts by growers led to a promising harvest. This Pinot Noir is sourced from Grand Oak Vineyard. 100% 777 clone, grown in Jory and Laurelwood soil at 500’. Aged in 80% stainless steel and 20% clay amphora.

This stainless steel-aged, chill-able Pinot Noir offers a unique sensory experience. 2022 Phoque Rosé

In 2022, the Willamette Valley's grape growing season saw a mix of favorable conditions and unique challenges. While the weather cooperated for the most part, there were occasional hurdles such as heatwaves and sporadic rainfall, requiring careful vineyard management. Despite these challenges, diligent efforts by growers led to a promising harvest. This assemblage rosé is commanded by 80% Mt. Eden clone Chardonnay; grown in Jory soil at 300’and aged exclusively in clay amphora for 8 months. Complimented by 20% 777 clone whole cluster Pinot Noir grown in Jory and Laurelwood soil at 750’ also aged exclusively in clay amphora for 8 months.

This pale pink amphora-aged assemblage rosé offers an enticing sensory journey. Brioche aromas delicately grace the palate, while a subtle rhubarb tartness harmonizes with the gentle sweetness of cherry, creating a captivating interplay of flavors. As the wine unfolds, a bright citrus zest emerges, complimented by a soft earthiness. This intricate composition of tasting notes results in a deeply complex rosé.

2022 Lvtetia Syrah

This Syrah is farmed at high elevation, ranging from 1140’ to 1370’ in elevation, on a site along the border of Oregon and Washington. Les Collines is a prominent vineyard with exquisite farming practices. This Syrah is designed to be a true expression of what has inspired us - inspired by whole cluster Syrah from Washington and more fruit forward, lighter Syrah from Northern Rhône. 50% new and 50% neutral oak. 35% whole cluster aged on lees in barrels for 1 year.

This Syrah has notes of luscious blueberries, blackberries, as well as savory, meaty undertones. Grounded by a nuanced earthiness, it culminates in a delicately spiced oak finish with a whisper of pepper. The whole cluster gives the wine a strong backbone of grippy tannins that elongate the finish and complement the fruity front palate.

2022 Tencendur Cabernet Franc

Farmed at high elevation, ranging from 1140’ to 1370’ in elevation, on a site along the border of Oregon and Washington. Les Collines is a prominent vineyard with exquisite farming practices that have extended into Cab Franc. This Cab Franc is its first year experiencing harvest and for such a young vineyard the wine packs a punch! 50% new and 50% neutral oak. 35% whole cluster aged on lees in barrels for 1 year.

This Cab Franc has notes of strawberry pie, blackberries, as well as earthy, wet stone undertones. Grounded by a nuanced earthiness, it culminates in a strong, focused fruit forward tannin. The whole cluster gives the wine a strong backbone of grippy tannins that elongate the finish and complement the fruity front palate.
